WOLF
The Wolf is highly social, intelligent, playful & one pointed in intent when the situation calls for it. Wolves are regarded as power animals by native peoples wherever they are found because of their hunting abilities, their intelligence & their loyalty to family & community. They are social to the point where they have mated with Coyotes & have infiltrated large urban parks such as Central Park in NY & Golden Gate in SF. GUADALUPE’S ROSE
The Virgin of Guadalupe has been associated with Roses since they appeared on the hill where she was first seen. See the site arroyoroses.com for information on this subject. This piece is a naturally formed Rose on the larger rock which is part of a counterclockwise spiral which produces this heraldic shape when the environmental stressors elongate one of the axis arms so that the whole shape is flare or flame like. RAINBOW SALMON
Salmon is an animal that must struggle against an uphill (or rather upstream) path laden with torrents, rocks, predators and energy forces which are running in the opposite direction! As such it is an animal with great spirit. This natural fetish encourages will power, persistence and natural love because Salmon is going up stream to find his love. Like the salmon this fetish has a slight iridescence which is the rainbow made flesh. 1.75″ long, base is 3″. LITTLE BUFFALO
The massacre & decimation of the Bison was on a par with the decimation of Native Peoples & the natural resources of the continent. The Bison is an animal with incredible strength. A woman I know used to herd them on a ranch she was a hand at, where they were raised for meat. A group of them were being herded through a cattle chute into a pen when one decided to go the other way. This is unlike cattle who follow in the herd. This particular one kicked a solid steel 15 foot gate off its hinges & 8 feet into the air! She told me she had never seen any similar show of strength & she was well versed with ranching & wildlife. A confluence of swirling magma, this vertices versicola is the quiet point in a dance of spirals. An important shape in Sacred Geometry, a mother door to the matrix we inhabit. Jung identified it as Mary, “the breathing hole of eternity”. Crusted with essences & textures in a dynamic posture, this is another manifestation of a universal phenomenon.

Originally associated with the Aztec Goddess MICTECACHUHUATL, her messenger and confidante is the Owl. Protector of crops and maker of love spells, she assist in all transformations. He is associated with the Sun and governs the disposition of Truth & Justice. He is called the soldier of God and is important as a protector & healer. As such he is considered the patron saint of various healing sites & especially those which have healing waters such as springs. He likes Franincense & Myrrh which are important scents in whorship of the Catholic faith. At the time of Guadalupe’s appearance in Mexico she appeared in the sky & was attacked by a dragon until St Michael came with a host of angels & protected her. The meander is a vector which is in no great hurry. There is a forward thrust of energy but it turns this way & then again. It is similar to a snake’s movements or streams & rivers which turn & switchback many times in their traverse. The star is a geometric impression of a perfectly balanced spiral which has 5 stress points in its twist.
