WATER CHARM
Base rock is beautiful Mocha color with watery inclusions. Turquoise is formed by water & is considered by Native Americans a gift of water & a sign of it. Water is the universal solvent & a harmonizing element. It is the element of emotion, the vehicle for making things move with love. It is also akin to the sky by the purity of its color & is a dual blessing for agriculture. Southwestern tribes used & use it extensively in Jewelry & ritual elements. FUTURE NOW FOREVER

DESERT MEDICINE WHEEL
Among Native American cultures the Medicine Wheel concept includes smaller personal Medicine Wheels as well as large stone circles of very large boulders. The language & signification of the various types & cultures varies as well although many include the four directions as an element in their Medicine Wheels. These Wheels have Calcites, Jaspers, Sandstone, Agates, Selenite, Schist & Iron stained materials as well as Pottery shards which are common here where the earliest human sites in North America are located & a part of Atzlan before the move south. These wheels have their own meanings & are arranged by harmonies among the materials themselves. Some of her followers smoke marijuana and dance wildly. “Letting her hair down” was a sign of necromancy in Medieval Spain. She is a mother of the caves and the back streets. She cares for all and nurtures their requests. Originally associated with the Aztec Goddess MICTECACHUHUATL, her messenger and confidante is the Owl Protector of crops and maker of love spells, she assist in all transformations. This simple OFRENDA calls natural images to a human purpose. Her boney visage, her knowledge of worldly tricks of the trade, her natural affection for all that will die and her association with Owl are acknowledged and celebrated. EL JEFE
The Chief, The “Boss”, El Jefe, is a large male Jaguar living in the mountains of Arizona, his trail & spoor have been seen & tracked by a scientist for 3 years, he sets a camera up, leaves & 5 minutes later he has a photo of El Jefe but he has never encountered him. He is aware that he is the one being tracked but E l Jefe is already the boss so he’s not interested in attacking humans. Jaguars were & are major power animals for indigenous peoples living everywhere from Mexico deep into South America. The Orange Calcite & Mica power rock here is like to the Jaguar’s coat & energetic profile. A strength & power charm with accompanying desert Milagros. Base is 7″ long, 6″ wide. SKULL TALK
The Desert is a place where death is evident everywhere from the skulls & bones of animals & men, the hollow wood of cholla & pinon, the ghostly winds & the dried & parched remains of plants, fur & feathers.
