SHIPPING: We will provide free shipping until further notice for the US mainland. Other US locations, we will provide any additional postage before sale. Our reason for this policy is that many of these items are relatively heavy & by incorporating shipping fees into the price you can see exactly what the item will cost. The postage fees for a large item or combo purchase can be shocking!
PACKING: We pack all items in bubble wrap or other appropriate packing & mail by FEDEX, which is considered the safest mail option for fragile items. The Rock Art & Combinations are glued but are still fragile. Please unpack carefully.
CARE OF YOUR ITEMS: The best single cleaning process is to delicately dust them with a damp (not wet) sponge. The glued combinations should not be placed in the Sun. It will eventually disintegrate the glue. Burning incense, smudging, or other ritual practices encourage & enhance the power in them. Many native peoples “feed” them with various offerings. They like love & attention like everything else but a light sponge dusting helps reveal the patterns & surfaces of the natural materials.
In cases of repairs I use WELLBOND UNIVERSAL ADHESIVE, by Frank T. Ross & Sons, easy to get in hobby store or on line. It dries clear & works great.
Some of the combination pieces are merely laid out if their natural shape & size create a stable arrangement. Some are glued for stability. These are put together as any mixed media Artist would to make a permanent one piece installation.
We also sometimes use a proprietary process to enhance the natural colors of some Sandstone & we also sometimes paint on rocks or crystals in line with both indigenous & modern Artists. The “enhanced Sandstone” label tells you there has been at least some modification of the natural materials. We also sometimes spray with Polyurethane when we are using fragile or eroding material such as Sandstone. When separate specimens are sold for specific healing properties we do not modify them in any ways which may affect their qualities.
In the near future we plan to carry incenses to further your rituals & worship as well as other meditative and/or Shamanic aids.
