BIRD ON A ROCK
$139.00
In Heyoka Box, things are turned upside down. Surrealism is the normal art form when the apparent socially conditioned reality is seen with unglazed eyes. This fantastic aspect is also one of the criteria for Scholars Rocks in China. When one has been struck by or energized by the Uranian Thunderbolt energy all bets are off but also all bets are on. This combination is a signature of the natural surrealism of nature. The combination of forms creates a dissonance in the mind as the actions of HEYOKA do. This dissonance causes the mind to give up & is a gate to the unknown which is the true nature of our experience. This combination will act as a reminder that there are gateways which appear in our lives continuously. The Warrior is one who makes the leap into a new dimension by recognizing opportunity in contradiction & its inherent power. See the article on Cognitive Dissonance etc on this site. 5.5″ long. Light Acrylic spray. An art piece. Comes with stand.

HORNS of HEYOKA
HORNS OF HEYOKA – The image & head dress of HEYOKA reflect the fact that the culture in which HEYOKA originated was a hunting culture. Because the demands of hunting & tracking require vigilance, sensitivity & intuition the horns represent those qualities which enable HEYOKA to see beyond or into our everyday reality to perceive the energetic qualities of material existence. The horns act as antennae & are often depicted with auras or ethereal energies surrounding them or emanating from them. This piece represents that reality. It is comprised of hematite which reflects the iron rich electro magnetic sea we live in, the horns or antennae we perceive with, the black & white dichotomy or digitization which makes abstract processes possible & a polished quartz crystal which amplifies & directs the raw material of perception into a meaningful or useful mental construct. 4.25″ long. This would be a good altar piece to add energy or intent to your tableau. It is also quite pleasing as far as the interaction of the visual elements go & is the jumping off point to new perceptions or power. Click for closeup.
