OGUN’S HELMET
OGUN is the Orisha who represents and embodies the energy of Iron. An orisha is a personification of a force of nature in the IFA religion, an ancient system of belief which originated in Nigeria but has now spread all over the world. By extension he governs the forces of civilization which rely on the development of metal technology. He also is involved as one of the progenitors of the human species because the development of life on earth began with rust, a product of iron which acted as food for primitive life forms. Ogun helps with issues of stability and structure. He also provides protection from the violence of crime and war because as the foundational element of weaponry, metal, he governs all their many uses by mankind as well. CHRYSANTHEMUM STONE
Chrysanthemum Stone stands on end on flattened surface. Chrysanthemum Stone is the Chinese name for this dramatic black and white stone which forms plant like “flowers” due to inclusions of celestite, calcite or quartz. This stone is considered the symbol of the royal family in China. Stone of wealth and social standing, it helps one to bloom and is considered advantageous for relationships and new ventures. It is a “good luck” stone and is often given to someone starting out in a new career or relationship. This specimen stands 10.5″ tall and 5″ wide at the largest dimension. High gloss polish. FLOURITE CROSS
Purple Flourite Cross (naturally occurring). Purple encourages spiritual aspirations and devotion and also grounds aspiration in practical service and the physical world. EARTH ANGELS
Quartz Crystals and Shell on iron heavy base rock with calcite. Base is 5″ long, Quartz 4″ long. A reminder of the angelic image emblazoned on our material world. These apparitions signal help when we align ourselves with their form. The fan like shape (seen in the shell and in fact in many rocks) is a portion of a spiral of manifestation which brings us into harmony with the flow of creation rather than being attached to a static image of any spiritual process or artifact. SELENITE
Museum quality specimen! Large classic Selenite, 7.5″ x 5″, stands up exactly as seen. Gallery picture shows reverse side equally nice. Perfect accent as table rock or garden piece. Selenite is named after the Moon Goddess Selene and has a reputation as a cleanser of persons and spaces. It has been used to cleanse other crystals as well.
