The Future Bird in this Sand Tray is white Calcite highlighted by the same orange as in the Sandstone itself. He rises 1.5 inches above the base and appears to be moving upward. The tiny green charm in the lower right corner is a world of plants and other organic forms which is a vital component of all desert life as it is everywhere. The tray is 7″ x 6″. These are meant to be platforms of activity. Please play with your sand tray, blow incense on it and add other personal elements that you favor. Rearrange things! DESERT ALTAR / OFRENDA
This altar has the classic firepit in the center and includes the ritual implement known as the sword of light, used to sacrifice one’s thought forms & preconceptions. RAINBOW SALMON
Salmon is an animal that must struggle against an uphill (or rather upstream) path laden with torrents, rocks, predators and energy forces which are running in the opposite direction! As such it is an animal with great spirit. This natural fetish encourages will power, persistence and natural love because Salmon is going up stream to find his love. Like the salmon this fetish has a slight iridescence which is the rainbow made flesh. 1.75″ long, base is 3″. The base has the sign of the thunderbolt or lightning on the back which energizes change and breaks impasse.

WANDERING STAR
The meander is a vector which is in no great hurry. There is a forward thrust of energy but it turns this way & then again. It is similar to a snake’s movements or streams & rivers which turn & switchback many times in their traverse. The star is a geometric impression of a perfectly balanced spiral which has 5 stress points in its twist. This particular star in the center of its sandstone pedestal has a slightly longer top point indicating that it is moving rather than stationary. The meander is also in movement so the charm confirms itself & it becomes a Wandering Star seeking expression in many venues. A nice charm for Taoists.
